About the Chef
Chef John has lived in Fryeburg since 1974, where he and his wife Jan raised two children. He has taught in the local schools for thirty-four years, influencing the lives of countless young people. With retirement from teaching on the horizon, Chef John has taken his love of cooking, his passion for great food and the culinary he skills he developed at the Culinary Business Academy to embark on a second career as a Personal Chef.
Chef John is a Certified Culinary Inspirations Instructor and a Premier Member of the United States Personal Chef Association. He enjoys learning about different cuisines and the food and techniques used to prepare them. Some of his culinary heroes are Jacques Pepin, Julia Child, and the heart healthy recipes of Graham Kerr.

A personal chef service offers customized menu planning by taking time to learn about your individual food needs and preferences. The chef does all of the shopping for you just before coming to your home to cook. He comes with everything needed to prepare your personalized meals. Next, he packages and stores the meals in your refrigerator and freezer. Finally, he leaves your kitchen clean and your home filled with the aromas of great food.
What if I am trying to lose weight or am on a special diet?
Chef John can prepare recipes for people with special dietary needs. He has many low-fat, heart-healthy recipes and has prepared meals for several clients who are diabetic.
What areas do you service? Convenient Cuisine P.C.S. serves the Fryeburg, Maine area and the surrounding towns in Western Maine. We also serve the towns of the Mount Washington Valley in New Hampshire. We will generally travel within a 25 mile radius of Fryeburg, Maine.
How are prices determined?
Pricing for the Personal Chef Service is determined on a fee plus the cost of groceries basis.
