The Hidden Gourmet is your answer to stress free meal planning or for those who love to entertain.
Once I meet with you to determine your likes and dislikes, a customized menu is created for your approval. On a prearranged cook day, I will shop for all of the ingredients for your meals. Using my own equipment, I will prepare your selected meals in your home for you and your family to enjoy. By the time I leave, your kitchen will be left spotless and your fridge full of healthy meals. A typical service is five servings of 2 portions or five servings of 4 portions. Service can be provided weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Lunch service for the week is also available for those who prefer to take their meals to work.
I also specialize in dinner parties. You choose the menu and using my own equipment, I will shop, deliver, prepare and serve the meal in your home.
A culinary adventue might suit you and your guests - you choose a signature item and I will teach you how to prepare it and I'll also bring along an hors d'oeuvre or dessert while you work in the kitchen.
Perhaps you just need to take the weekend off - I will prepare your meals for 3 days.
I also provide food preparation service for your family and holiday get togethers.

About the Chef
I reside in Milton and I have a passion for cooking and love working with people. I have been classically trained at George Brown College and enjoy both cooking and baking. I prefer healthy, home style cooking and believe that working with quality ingredients leads to great results. I am professional, organized, flexible and reliable.

What is a Personal Chef Service?
A personal chef interviews you to determine your preferences. A menu is then designed and presented for approval. I then do the shopping, come into your home with my own pots and pans, prepare the meals and store them in your refrigerator or freezer with instructions. I then clean up your kitchen and leave. If preferred, meals can be made off-site and delivered to your home.

How are prices determined?
Prices are based on the service provided. For example; a standard meal plan with 5 entrees at 4 servings each is $350.00 which includes the cost of food. A standard meal plan with 5 entrees at 2 services each is $310.00.
Dinner parties are priced per person and based on menu choices. Dinner parties can be pre-purchased wtih a gift certificate.
What type of menu is offered when booking a dinner party?
A three course bistro, gourmet or vegetarian menu is available. You choose an appetizer, entree and dessert.
Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres available.

A personal chef is for those who do not have the time or desire to plan, shop and prepare daily meals. Busy professionals who are tired of take out food, new parents, retireees, individuals recovering from surgery are typcial clients. Often, this is a unique gift given to that special someone as they get to choose their menu and suitable date. People who love to entertain friends at home enjoy the experience of having a chef in their home so that they can relax and stay out of the kitchen.
